The S.S.Bigwin, Dorset
The Bigwin is a historic boat that is parked in the Dorset Narrows. In the summer and fall, it takes passengers around Lake of Bays. Boats are often a fun subject to paint, due to their graceful shape, texture and colour as well as the beautiful reflections they cast in the water.

A year and a half ago, I was in the Yukon and passed through the picturesque First Nation Settlement of Carcross. So much beauty with the mountains, the slanted buildings, and the bridge over the icy river! All paintngs are framed in solid maple floater frames.

One year and a half ago, my family and I visited this spectacularly beautiful First Nation Settlement in Yukon. It had majestic mountains, a clear river, an iron bridge, old buildings that slanted and even a small desert. What more could an artists ask for!

Wolf Lake, is on the edge of Algonquin Park and close to Dorset. This part of the lake is hidden behind and dead silent. The stark, bleached trees look like lace against the dark conifers. This painting is framed in a maple floater frame.
