I arrived early one morning before breakfast, before the campers emerged from their cabins, to watch the day unfold at Camp Ahmek. Two very skilled canoeists were paddling silently and effortlessly, near the shore in a bright orange canoe. Their canoe danced on the water. I loved the reflection on the water. They graciously allowed me to photograph them. From the photo, I painted their portraits. This painting is framed in a clear maple floater frame.
